1. About these terms

This website belongs to Eagle's Wings Community Group, a community organisation working in Kenya. By visiting or using the website you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. What this website is for

It tells you about our feeding, youth mentorship and medical outreach programs, and lets you contact us, give, or offer to volunteer. We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is always complete or free of mistakes.

3. Giving and donations

• Gifts are voluntary. Please give only what you are comfortable giving.
• How gifts are used. Gifts support our programs and the running of the organisation. If you want a gift used for a particular program, tell us when you give. If a particular need is already fully funded, we may use your gift for a similar purpose, and we will let you know.
• Receipts. Tell us after you give and we will issue a receipt.
• Refunds. Gifts are normally not refundable. If you gave by mistake or were charged the wrong amount, contact us as soon as you can with your payment reference and we will put it right.
• Stay safe. We will never ask for your M-Pesa PIN, bank password or card number. Only use the payment details we give you directly, and check them carefully. If someone claiming to be us asks for anything else, stop and contact us on +254 721 706 755.

4. Volunteering

• Volunteers give their time freely. Volunteering does not make you an employee, and we do not pay wages unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
• Anyone who works with children must follow our Child Protection Policy and may be asked for references and a police clearance (Certificate of Good Conduct).
• We may ask a volunteer to stop at any time if their conduct puts people or our reputation at risk.

5. Using the website properly

You agree not to:

• break any Kenyan law, including the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018;
• try to hack, damage or overload the website, or get into parts of it you are not meant to see;
• send false, abusive, threatening or misleading messages;
• pretend to be us or someone else, or use our name and logo to ask for money;
• copy or collect other people's personal information from the website.

6. Our content and your content

The name, logo, text, design and original photographs on this website belong to Eagle's Wings Community Group or are used with permission. You may share our pages and quote short parts of them, with credit to us, for non-commercial purposes. Please ask us first before using our name, logo or photographs in any other way.

Photographs of people, especially children, are used only with consent. If you appear in a photograph and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down promptly.

If you send us a message or story, you allow us to use it to run our work. We will ask before publishing anything that could identify you.

7. Links to other websites

This website links to other services such as WhatsApp. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. No guarantees, and limits on our responsibility

The website is provided "as it is". We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors or viruses. To the fullest extent Kenyan law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that results from using the website or relying on it. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Kenyan consumer or other law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes to the website and these terms

We may change the website or these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya can decide any dispute. We would always like to try to sort things out by talking first.
